Passion du Dragon: ‘Champagne’  -
龙之激情:“香槟”
Dragon’s eye flower honey & passion fruit with popping candy

Related to the lychee which has a stronger floral citrus flavour, Longyan (龙眼) “Dragon’s Eye” fruit, has a softer sweetness with a hint of grape. Evergreen all year round with luxuriant branches & leaves, the auspicious Dragon’s Eye tree continues to produce large fruit yields for over 500 years, reflecting the boundless power of the dragon. It symbolizes vitality & bringing forth positive energy.

In Western culture, passion fruit with is sweet, sour explosion of flavour is often associated with passion & exoticism while in China its name百香果 (baixiang guo or "hundred fragrance fruit") gives it positive connotations of abundance, vitality & refreshment.

Adding to this sense of passion, excitement, vitality, refreshment & celebration, I add popping candy. Enjoy the popping effect of bubbly champagne!
Union Céleste: ‘Crème Brûlée’ -
“焦糖布丁”
Maple caramelised Jiangxi pecan with crème brûlée vanilla custard

Related to walnuts, the more fragrant pecan are associated with mental strength, wisdom, knowledge, longevity as well as treasures & wealth hidden within. Meanwhile in Chinese poetry maple trees native to China are associated with seasonal cycles, transformation, love & appreciation for nature's gifts.

As a symbol of elegance & sophistication, the Crème Brûlée is a timeless dessert that embodies French culinary artistry. The contrast of crisp bitter caramel and silky smooth sweet vanilla custard, make a luxurious balance for the senses.

Here we recognise & celebrate the enduring fortitude all relationships pass through in the face of natural changes. By appreciating the harder & softer times we go through, refining each other & ourselves, we can bring greater balance to the union.
Romance immortelle: Moon ‘Pearls’ -
不朽之浪漫:月珠
Dragon Well green tea & sweet osmanthus flower w/ crispy ‘pearls’

Originating from the protected Lion Peak Mountain in the West Lake region of Hangzhou, Eastern China, for almost 3,000 years龙井茶 (Longjing cha), Dragon Well green tea, is one of the most celebrated teas in China, often referred to as the China’s national tea.
Legend says the name comes from a well in the region that was guarded by a dragon. Dragons are believed to bring rain. During a drought, villagers prayed at the dragon’s well and the rain eventually fell, naming the tea in honor of this divine intervention. Today, Dragon Well tea remains highly prized for its flat, jade-green leaves, nutty aroma, slightly sweet, refreshing flavor & health benefits, making it a popular choice among tea enthusiasts worldwide.

Since ancient times, the small yellow, elegant, refined & floral, apricot, peach, & honey scented Osmanthus flower holds rich meanings deeply embedded in traditional Chinese culture. A traditional symbol of love and romance linked to the moon it often appears in Chinese love poetry & folk tales. With its gold colour it also symbolises harvest & victory and was gifted to emperors as a symbol of loyalty.

In Chinese culture the dragon relates to the masculine and the moon is associated with feminine beauty. Pearls were seen as a gift from the gods and were considered to be both beautiful & powerful, associated with wisdom, longevity & immortality.

Here we celebrate the ever growing love, wisdom & loyalty of all enduring relationships, as well as reminding never to forget the importance of romance in keeping harmonious romantic relationships that stand the test of time.
